Multiple clients at the same address: When more than one client lives at the same address, the clients will still be listed individually. However, under Special Instructions, it will be noted that more than one client lives at that address. Please make sure to review your complete route list before beginning delivery and make note of any clients living at the same address.

Routes pushed daily: If you choose to deliver meals using the mobile app, your route will be accessible on the mobile app by 10:00 am on the day you deliver.

iPhone users: If you have an iPhone, please make sure your Location (found by visiting Settings and then by clicking on the Mobile Meals app listing) is set to Always. If you need help making this adjustment, please let our team know.

Once you sign in, a list of the clients on your delivery route will appear on your mobile screen.

Select the name of the first client on the list.

When you are done delivering to the first client, select either Delivered or Not Delivered, and move on to the next client.

What to bring:

  1. Begin your route with the first client listed on the route sheet.
TIP: Have your mobile device handy, particularly when delivering a meal to get to the door. This allows you to easily make contact with a client when they do not answer the door.
  2. Please be patient as many of our clients have disabilities which may cause them to take longer to get to the door. We ask that you make contact with the client, as a wellness check, with each delivery.
  3. After two failed knocking attempts, we ask that you please contact them on the telephone number listed on your route sheet.
  4. If the client is not home, please leave a “Sorry, we missed you” door hanger. DO NOT LEAVE THE MEAL. This additional meal can be given to anyone listed on the route sheet. If at the end of your route you have a meal leftover, please give it to someone in need. Senior Resources cannot take meals back.
TIP: Call ahead to your next stop letting them know to expect you shortly. This is particularly beneficial to those requiring additional time to make it to the door.
  5. Once your route is completed, please call (803) 252-7734 ext. 235 and report any clients that were not home. These reports allow us to follow up with the clients to ensure they are healthy and safe in their homes.
