Senior Companions
Friendship & Support for Independent Living
The Senior Companions program, part of AmeriCorps Seniors, connects older adults with caring volunteers who provide friendship, encouragement, and regular social connection.
Senior Companions help reduce isolation for older adults who wish to remain independent at home while also giving family caregivers valuable time to rest, recharge, and manage daily responsibilities with peace of mind.
Through meaningful visits and companionship, participants gain connection, conversation, and support that enhances overall well-being.
