Home Care services provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, errands, and light housekeeping. Clients can also receive walkers, wheelchairs, shower seats and other assistive medical devices (subject to availability). Upon request, the program will link clients to other resources in the community that provide housing, food, discount prescription drugs and other services.
Home Care clients receive assistance on a temporary or long-term basis by experienced and trained caregivers. Without in-home care services, many of these seniors may be forced to move into assisted-living facilities or nursing homes.
