HOME ADMINISTRATION MISSION PROGRAMS FUNDRAISING

Senior Companions

	...are volunteers age 60 and older who are trained to assist the elderly and homebound with essential services such as socialization, light meal preparation, accompaniment to appointments, and light household duties.
	...serve 20 hours per week.
	...provide limited respite services to primary care givers.
	...is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service.

Several New Senior Companions Attend Orientation

while Others Help with SRI's 39th Annual Meeting Breakfast!

Recently Vivian Adams told the Senior Companion Program that "Prior to receiving your services, we were juggling our schedules as best we could to ensure that our mother was cared for properly. Knowing that the Senior Companion is with our mother has been a great relief to us."
